Child Pick-Up Policy
I. Purpose
The safety of our athletes is our utmost priority. To ensure their safety during the pick-up period, Elite Performance Sports and Training Academy ("EPSTA") has developed the following Child Pick-Up Policy. This policy establishes guidelines to prevent unauthorized individuals from picking up an athlete from our academy.
II. Policy
- Authorized Individuals: The athlete can only be released to either the parent(s)/guardian(s) listed in the registration list or the individual listed as an emergency contact.
- Alternative Pick-Up Arrangements: If, due to unavoidable circumstances, the authorized individual(s) cannot pick up the athlete, alternative pick-up arrangements can be made. However, this arrangement must be provided to EPSTA in writing. The letter must detail the full name of the person who will be picking up the athlete, their relationship to the athlete, and the date(s) of the authorized pick-up(s). The designated individual must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid California identification at the time of pick-up.
- Verification: At pick-up, the authorized individual must present a valid ID for verification purposes. Without proper identification, the athlete will not be released.
- Prompt Pick-Up: All athletes should be picked up promptly at the end of the training session 7:00pm. Any delay should be communicated to the EPSTA management in advance.
III. Procedure
- The designated pick-up individual will report to the academy office or designated pick-up point.
- The individual will present a valid California identification for verification.
- Once the identification is verified and matches the authorized individual listed by the parent(s)/guardian(s), or the written alternative arrangement, the athlete will be released to the individual.
In case of any confusion, concern, or emergency, please contact EPSTA management immediately.
We kindly request your full cooperation in adhering to this policy, thereby ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our athletes.
