About the event
The EPSTA Youth Basketball Tryouts are for female athletes ages 12 and under and serve as the first step toward joining our competitive youth basketball program.
Athletes will be evaluated through basketball drills, movement assessments, competitive situations, and coach-led activities designed to measure skill, athleticism, effort, attitude, and coachability.
Tryouts are FREE and will be held on September 15 & 17 from 5:30–6:30 PM at North Torrance High School.
Selected athletes will be invited to join the EPSTA training program, where we will build a strong athletic foundation through our Stabilization, Strength, and Power phases, while developing basketball skills, team concepts, and game readiness.
Our goal is to develop young female athletes the right way—helping them become stronger, smarter, more confident basketball players as we progress toward tournament competition and championship-level play.
